Gift's Nitro+CHiRAL Plush Series- Noiz

Hello, MFCcchi's!

I mentioned in my recent loot blog that I wanted to get back into the swing of things with some reviews. With the new announcement that Good Smile Company was extending the DRAMAtical Murder Nendo line with the addition of the leader of the Ruff Rabbit's, Noiz. I figured no time like the present to kick things off with a review of Gift's plush version of the information broker.

Gift has been releasing plushies from not only DMMd, but also from the other Nitro+ CHiRAL titles as well, of course, the only caveat is the exclusivity of the releases via an event or online store order. Thankfully, so far, I've been very lucky to get my hands-on what has been released thus far. Well, enough about that. Let's get started with the review, and see if Noiz was worth entering a Rhyme battle for.

Usually, this is the part where we discuss the box, but since the plushies only safeguard is a clear bag, we can skip the box formalities. Although I haven't seen any bootlegs of the Nitro+ CHiRAL series plushies, the clear bags usually come with a sticker marking the name of the item, along with the number of the plush in the series.

Here's Noiz in all his glory. As you can see, his game appearance has been well executed in his plushie form. Even some of his notable piercings have been perfectly replicated.

As we quickly turn him around, you can easily see Noiz has a bit of a booty going for him. This, of course, helps keep the plushies balance, so you won't have a constant tipping problem.

Let's start from the top and work our way down, so we'll be taking a closer look at Noiz's face first. As I mentioned earlier, Gift did a great job placing all the piercings on his face, as well as some on his ears. The silver loops on his right (your left) brow line are well inserted into the fabric of his face. The same can be said about the three loops on both his right and left ear. They look like actual piercings. For the studs and the cone spikes on the bridge of his nose and lower lip, Gift used silver beads which are sewn into the fabric. This works well, especially since they used a nude thread which matches the color of his skin. While not all of the piercings are actually on his face and body, Gift did a good job in adding as many as they could with the allotted space (like his ears for example), to keep his general design as true to canon as they could.

While I could go one about how much I love Noiz's piercings, I would be remiss if I didn't talk the great expression he's sporting. True to his personality, he's got a pretty good pout going on. The stitching for his frowned eyebrows is well done. I particularly love the added detail of a darker shade of green for his iris. It makes his beautiful green eyes stand out even more so.

Moving onto his wardrobe. Noiz wears a blue and green beanie with the decorative Usagimodoki (his ALLMATE) motif around it. The beanie also has a woolen layer underneath it, along with two tassels that hang on each side, and the one that sits on top. Even the bloody smiley face can badge is present. Again, Gift does a great job bringing to life all the details of the design. The hat itself is also removable, so if you prefer to display Noiz showing off his gorgeous blonde locks, you can.

Moving one to his navy and white colored shirt and accessories. The stitching along the fabric of his clothes is well done. There are no loose threads or any apparent missed stitches. His tie is made out of a different fabric as opposed to the shirt. It only has one stitch going through the shirt, so I wouldn't advise tugging on it too much. The chest pocket is made of the same material as the tie, and it is glued onto his shirt. Once again, Gift makes sure to add the painted detail of the two can badges Noiz has on his chest pocket, as well as the one on his tie. Replacing the two pins that adorn his tie, Gift uses black piece of fabric as its substitute. It looks just as cute as the two pins would have, so this is not a deal breaker in the least. You can also catch a glimpse of his black undershirt, along with his wrist accessories. The Usagimodoki motif is also very present in his belt.

Speaking of Usagimodoki, here's a quick view of Noiz's ALLMATE hanging from his waistband. The pattern isn't drawn on the blocks, but again, this is not what I would call a deal breaker.

As I flip him around once again, you can see his two back pockets are nicely pasted on his big booty.

Each plushie has a tag with their own color. Noiz's is green of course. You can remove the tag, but I always like to keep them on.

In the end, Gift has done a remarkable job with Noiz's plush. From the small details of the Usagimodoki print used on his hat and belt to the piercing on his face. Everything was well done and top-notch. Now, was his worth getting into a massive "Rhyme" proxy type battle for? Yes. If you're a fan of the game/series, then he would be a great addition to your collection. Even if you're not familiar with his origin, he's still a pretty interesting plush in his own right. Although it has been a mad rush to try and snag any of the plushies from this line, Gift has been re-releasing them pretty steadily. Noiz is already heading to his fourth re-release as we speak, so if you do get a chance to buy him, I can assure you, you will not regret it.

Before I sign off, one last picture of Noiz with Aoba. Don't they look cute together?

He's really adorable. If I remember correctly, I think it was around 4,000-4,500. I got him along with Aoba, Thhe Aoba strap, and Koujaku.
He's worth it though; too cute!

Milkbiscuit (3 years ago) #2273606I love the amount of detail Gift gives to their plushies, particularly the DmmD line. You don't really see that kind of thing on other plushies (plus their faces are too cute)
And I'm so tempted to get multiples of all of them (if I had the space and money) because I'm always worried about dirt touching their faces.

I wish I could have any army of DMMd plushies myself. They are really well made.

He is so expensive but nothing in this hobby is cheap so I deal with it.

Me too! The straps are really cute. I have Aoba's, and it's worth hunting down, along with the plushies.

DMMd is making me want to buy nendoroids and plushies - something that I never thought I would ._.

We're lucky in a way that DMMd is getting some well deserved attention. I can't wait until they reveal Noiz's face plates.
