iMy problems with Nippon-Yassan.com (NY)n/a

I have bought three of this item:item #186848 and paid since April, but when this was finally released, six months after, NY update the status for "Preparation in progress", there past four days and all my friends that bought this and paid this week, are with the shippment code on hands.

I confess I'm feeling a little disrespected by this store, I was one of the first to pay and probably will be one of the last to receive.

When I submit a ticket about it, I got the answer: Your order will be shipped soon, probably Thursday, well Thursday was gone and they still have not sent my order.

Anyone more have the same problem with this store?

Me too. They sent me an defective box, i asked about the subject, answer me absurd things of the case, also, i send pictures of the box and everything, to proof that someone (of their staff) sent me a damaged box. Until now, i'm a fucking liar for them.

CaioIncau (2 years ago) #2416885Omg , I expected they don`t forget to undervalue, here in Brazil we pay 60% of customs fees.
Did you know other stores that undervalue ?

Yeah, I think they just forgot, because I also mentioned it in a comment box that they please undervalue.
Yes, Big in Japan does. They also have Premium Bandai exclusive Items (which I bought at NY) but you need to pay upfront. But they are very trustworthy, and I mostly order with them, since none of my (sure about 100) parcels from them got ever caught.

as a rule, i think NY is best avoided...
their customer service is not that great, they take a long time (at least a week for me) shipping orders out, and their in-stock status is shaky at best, for rare or hard-to-find items, their shop shows they have it in stock, but they probably don't, it's only when you place an order that they try to go source it from somewhere else. they used to let you cancel order, not anymore, but they can cancel your order left and right so they don't have to honor the price they post on their shop for already-released items.
so yeah, best avoided.

lucy4 said she bought an in-stock item, hence my suspicion.

Yeah.. I tend to just buy pre orders or recently released.

Moro (2 years ago) #2417128I thought that part was only a problem with items that weren't preorders? Or am I remembering wrong?yep, that's what I remember reading some time ago.

No your right, from what I've heard and experienced pre order items came in fine.

Never pay up front is the advice I get from everyone. They're kinda slow at everything.

kevinlowl (2 years ago) #2417043"in-stock" lol, yeah right, they probably scrambled to look for it on Yahoo Japan Auctions/Amazon or something.
