    Madoka was probably the best show of the year (visually, plot-wise, character-wise - its only real flaw was the pacing), but Tiger & Bunny was by far my favorite. Seeing a Japanese take on the comic-book-hero formula was really nice, and they combined it with kickass designs, great characters, and one of the best buddy-cop sort of anime dynamics I've ever seen.

    itsame00Bitch! Why is Guilty Crown so low?! ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

    Guilty Crown is like Code Geass in that it's a blast to watch if you're not taking it seriously, but it's a trainwreck in terms of plot and characterization.

    Madoka and Penguindrum were definitely the best pieces of art / story-telling. I personally enjoyed Madoka more, but I'd really like to re-watch Penguindrum (please get licensed!!)

    Objectively speaking I'd have to say Madoka was overall better, in terms of art and writing (out of the three I've seen: Steins; Gate, Working!, and Madoka). Subjectively, I liked Steins; Gate best though.

    WatchJessieGoFrom the poll, Madoka was the best, but my actual favorite is AnoHana, which wasn't on the poll. ;__;

    Totally agree 100%! Madoka is the best but ano hana should be there
