Anyway, case in point: I have nothing but praise for them, and that easy cancellation is a dream come true.
PoshulThey won't do anything with orders over the weekend so you're going to have to wait until Monday for any updates or rather Sunday night for me (Eastern Time).
As for what others say, I find them easy to use, I don't buy much so combining things isn't a factor to me, automated is better and I know they speak English. That nendoroid was very recently released too so they're probably inundated with orders for her. As for pre-orders, when it comes in the item listing may say low stock or out of print, but they always sent it to me anyway because I pre-ordered it. I don't think stock status counts for those who pre-ordered, only for ones left over. Sometimes processing is slow there, but I've always gotten it in the end. I just assume that with an item that's just released they're super busy checking pre-orders and assessing stock.
SNLSlow? HLJ is usually very fast for me, for EMS and even SAL, one time I shipped something SAL from them and got it in like 3 days. They're awesome. I love their easy and stress free cancellation too.

They recklessly oversold a type-moon figure a while back. I believe it was one of the rider figures, don't know which one though.
Unfortunately they do oversell, it's quite common in doll communities with HLJ and I've seen other users mention it.
The only real problem I have with HLJ is their terrible packaging. Other than that, they do lack good shopping service, no combination, everything is automated which really sucks and a lot of their shopping system is confusing.
I really disagree about all the HLJ hate. Yes, they are slow, but their shipping is also pretty cheap, so of course it's a tad bit slower. The BEST thing about HLJ is that you can cancel preorders whenever you want, so you can jump on a preorder right away and not worry about whether or not you'll REALLY want her (or be able to afford her) as the release approaches. ALSO, once you've gotten a confirmation for a figure you've preordered, I've never NOT gotten the figure. They don't "oversell."
firefly777HLJ is pretty slow in processing orders compared to AmiAmi or Hobby Search so all you do can pretty much do is wait. They might be checking stock for the figure or waiting for it to come in. I only use HLJ if pre-orders are filled at AA or HS or other stores, their sales and when I don't need an item shipped via EMS.
nitromobHLJ I really don't like their system honestly. I ordered a figma on sale and was hoping it could get shipped with a prize figure since the prize figure would be coming out within a week. Well there's no choice and they wanted the in stock thing payed for and shipped immediately. Well I shipped it and ended up canceling the prize figure (Wasn't so sure about it anyway). Kind of a hassle though the shipping didn't take too long and was SAL. Not a good system for sure.
