The price is definitely a deterrence...even if they had a character I liked, I wouldn't pay that much for an action figure unless it was maybe MGS2 Raiden...

RolanMcDolanPoor sales. Statue collectors were put off by the joints, and posable-figure collectors were put off by the size.

I think Subaru has the best hidden joints because of those elbow/knee pads.


I've also heard of some loose joint issues too.

I thought it was a pretty good idea actually, to have poseable scaled sized figures- I liked the idea of being able to change the figure's pose so it'd be like having several scaled figures in one haha. Personally though, I thought the main issues with the line were the price and the stability of the figures- prices were a bit steep and the stands seemed too flimsy to support the weight of the figure (I'm speculating here based on the photos I've seen, so I could be wrong).

It's too bad that they've had to discontinue it, but there probably just wasn't a niche for poseable scaled figures at those prices.

It was good but it had to compete with scaled figures among other things so probably GSC thought it was best to leave the action figure segment to figma and stick with PVC figures for 1/8 (and above) scale
