Nice job! Makes me want to finish panel-lining and putting the decals on my Strike. And it's too bad about the Armor Schneiders. While looking at your pics, I was thinking to myself, "where's the plain Strike with just the daggers?" The strike can really strike some militaristic poses without the whole aile pack on (not to mention, won't have balance issues lol).
Also, where'd those swords in the first pic come from?

Hmm not sure..I work in multiple short sessions but let's say 5-6 hours, no more than that.

Ranger_Chris61Interestign technique, the results are very good

Yes, clear colored paints have less pigments and more water, so they flow and distribute better. I still sand off the nub marks, but I make sure to use 600+ and finish at at least 1000. This way the subsequent clear coat and flat coat can cover minute surface scratches and provide a slightly better surface for the paint to grip onto.

Thanks ^^ I guess you can look at it that way! As long as no visible brush strokes are visible I'm happy :)

Would you like to know my secret? :) It's clear red, clear blue, and clear yellow over the plastic colors. I'd suck at hand painting as well had I used normal colors.
