Attended Otakuthon this weekend and had lots of fun. While I will be posting about cosplays and panels later on, let's be honest now, this is MFC and you care about the loot haul.
My loot for Otakuthon is a lot more varied than what I brought back from Anime North. The table that normally sells doujins and CDs had to cancel so there was far less Touhou Project stuff and much more money to use for random things. There were a ton of great figures but I was not in the market for that so I picked up a lot of weird stuff. Here goes!
Now, while the main doujin table was gone I did find one table with doujin. The selection was small and there was a lot of hardcore porn (the creepy kind with tentacles and stuff), but I still managed to find a couple I like. Nothing like the stack I brought back from AN though.

Really happy there was a lot of Yuyuko/Youmu.

The best way to describe my new doujins is... yummy!

Next up is a bunch of random stuff. I found a Disgaea artbook and I really like the series so I picked it up. It has lots of pretty full color works. I also found a game I was looking for, Wild Guns, which I totally didn't expect. This game is awesome, here's a vid of it if you care to check it out- (ext link)
The Pokemon badges look top notch. The mug is not legit merchandise but I caved from how cute it is. Lastly, there's a random necklace.

Next up is a big fluffy Nyan Cat pillow which is hand made.

Bought plush of course. Rin and Sanae were the only Phantasm Screen the booth had that I was missing or else I would have bought more. Halloween Glameow is actually the last Glameow plush I was missing so the family is complete. The other two are ones my girlfriend bought.

Keychains! Lots of them! We spotted the Megaman sprite collection and we were only planning to take four. We got the least interesting first and I wasn't willing to leave without Protoman so I took two more. No Protoman. Ended up with the whole set and good thing too since the last one we opened was the secret and it turned out to be Bass which was pleasently surprising. I saw the Gift keychains earlier on and skipped them. It was at the end of the convention that there were two left and they cost exactly what I had left so I said "what the hey" and took them. Happy about Yukari and meh about Chen. The random rubber keychains were a great find since the dealer had no idea about the Angeltype keychain or the others for that matter so I may have payed way less than they were worth *innocent whistle*

Next were moving into purely artwork. I tried to link accounts where I could but I'm having trouble finding a lot of artists. The worst part is I know I've seen a lot of their work online, I just can't remember where.
Here's some amazing Reimu pictures and a nice Flandre. The smaller Reimu print was made by (ext link).

A Flandre poster and a picture my gf really wanted since last convention.

A Reimu and a Marisa postcard. Bad Apple postcard is by (ext link).

A great set of Touhou keychains by (ext link).
The tiny Reimu charm is by (ext link).
The reason Mami is missing from the Madoka sets is because I already had her. Then some cute Majora's Mask stickers by (ext link) (same artist as the Madoka keychains).

Got a bunch of sprite art. I picked out Ness, Matsudoki, and Persian while my gf got the Eevees.
Also picked up some Ace Attorney magnets from the same artist I bought a big Edgeworth magnet from last year. There was no Phoenix or Gumshoe left ;_;

So that's my total loot haul. Not as big as Anime North but it has a lot more variety than what I normally choose.
Happy hunting everyone!
