iBroken Nendo Yamada!n/a

Yesterday I got my second Nendoroid figure in the mail and was disappointed to discover that her crying face had a broken neck joint. I put the crying face on the figure and after a minute it literally fell apart in my hands. I wasn't pulling on it or twisting it.

Here's the damage with the joint part that's stuck in the head:

I emailed a picture to Good Smile Support, which I've never done before. Is this the kind of thing they'll help me on?

Will Good Smile send me a replacement?

When my Sebastian neck joint broke last month, I asked GSC to give me 2 joints (1 extra in case it breaks again). To my surprise, they sent me the face plate with the joint, and an extra joint. I was really only expected 1 joint xD
Delivery took maybe 10 days? Seems like R-SAL, I'm not sure.
They're not as stingy as I thought.
Wow. I've been waiting a month for my replacement piece. You're so lucky.

You're most likely just going to get the joint. Sometimes they send you a whole figure for shits 'n' giggles, but that's been happening less often these days. But honestly, the good thing about Nendo neck joints is that you can just replace them with one from one of the alternate legs or faces.

I agree, it's probably easier to just remove the joint with pliers, than use a different joint from a different face. Or remove both pieces and see if they snap back together well enough. From the size of the break, it looks like you can put the joint back together, and than maybe only use it on a nendoroid that has a light head and you don't move much.

I'm not sure they help with simple joint breakages.

Honestly, it's not something I care about. I broke a neck joint in my BRS nendo, but just grabbed one from another face. I have two dozen nendos, meaning four or five dozen neck joints. Non-issue, ultimately. Every nendo comes with at least two, usually three faceplates, all with a neckjoint -- quite possibly because GSC know they are the weakest link.
