ffenris (6 days ago) #21372441View spoilerHide spoilerPolyurethane makes sense, since this is marked "stretch" -- I'm yet to see any pure-polyester stretch/tricot material. Definitely not smooth knit/smoothtron, since those are 100% polyester. Beyond that, it's hard to say, since there are so many different polyester/polyurethane blends. Some have the exact same ratio, but I guess differ in the thread/count/weave etc (for eg, these two have an 85%/15% mix, one is 2-way Smooth, one Pearl Roica, and this 80%/20% mix is 2WT Kira).

Thank you! This is even more complicated than I thought! That's great to have experts on Dakis. To be honest, I don't really see any difference between item #63568 and item #182324. Neither in the print nor in the touch. That's why I was asking.

By the way, thank you for adding item #547780. I completely missed it until today. Of course, now I want it too!!!! LOL!

alazif03 (6 days ago) #21369571It says: polyester 80% and polyurethane 20%.
I'm still lost among all these kinds of material!

alazif03 (6 days ago) #21359098I love Tony, but I don't want to spend that much. I'll probably be looking for a 12-13k one (there's one at Surugaya, but I'm broke this month ^-^)
Till next month, then ^_^
alazif03 (6 days ago) #21359098I have an other question: do you know if item #182324 is smoothtron? I've seen you edited item #63568 and added item #547780. It doesn't seem to be the same manufacturer though.
Doesn't look like it -- [ext link ] and [ext link ] both just say "ストレッチ" (Stretch), so unlikely to be A&J Smoothtron, probably a generic stretch smooth. Since you seem to have the cover, could you take a look at the label and see what it says?

ffenris (7 days ago) #21346453A&J manufactured, so the base quality is bound to be good. Lyctron is a little less sturdy compared to their 2WT, do keep that in mind if you intend to actually use it rather than display it. 10-12k is par for the course for 2WT dakis, but is it worth the 21.3k that Solaris is quoting, that depends on how much you like Tony XP

Thank you, I didn't know that Lyctron is a little bit more fragile than 2WT. I just checked and seen that I have one Daki with the same material, item #294112. And I don't sleep with it. It looks too good, I'm afraid to damage it. I love Tony, but I don't want to spend that much. I'll probably be looking for a 12-13k one (there's one at Surugaya, but I'm broke this month ^-^)

alazif03 (7 days ago) #21346403Hi!
I'd like to know if the Dakis made by Hobby Japan have a good quality. I'm interested in item #452759 but it's quite expensive. Is it worth such a price?
Thanks!

MugenTenshinFRD (21 days ago) #20823354The most expensive dakimakura set that I've ever seen is on Mandarake.
¥500,000 w/o tax or ¥540,000 with Japanese tax for 6x Hatsune Miku dakimakuras by Anko Workshop!!
[ext link ] (Warning adult confirmation needed)

Nice to get them all in one place, but it's a bit on the expensive end. Two of those covers typically sell for 40-60k, while the others are usually in the 70-100k range. So you're paying a bit extra for convenience.

Selling my dakimakuras. Never used. Never displayed. Kept stored in boxes. I'm a hoarder. I just buy things and never display them.
(mfc link)

Also selling shower tapestries and have some bed sheets, etc. PM me if interested.
