Nope~ it's not necessary. None of the aliases actually show up on the item page. Only the encyclopedia. When you add/edit an entry you can search the alias name and the character will still come up. This also works for search fields (encyclopedia, full search page).

This is probably a really stupid question, but if an item is on Movic's site, does that mean they make it? I wanted to add (ext link) to the database, so I was wondering.

Yeah, in that case they are the ones that made it. Others have added similar straps to those before (like these P4 ones: encyclopedia #36674)

IIs it possible to block another user? Someone who I don't feel comfortable selling to (they've been untrustworthy in the past) is trying to get friends to buy an item from me, and I'd like to block them if it's possible.

Yes you can press Setting in your profile and you will find a tab Blacklist
Just add that user there and you should be fine

Hi,
I added item #112280 and I don't know if I should create entries for Yu-pon and Emma Gwen and Kau. These ones appear in the Joker cards and there's no entry for them in the database, but again they appear in one card, the same as Arbitro, Gunji and Kiriwar.
My question is do I create the entries or just delete Arbitro, Gunji and Kiriwar from the character list?

If you ask me, you shouldn't even list the characters. The other ones don't have them either (mfc link) The series' name = origin is enough if the trump cards doesn't have any specific name/title.

PM an Admin immediately about this situation with the username and details. If it's been less than 45 days and you didn't mark it as a Gift you should probably file a claim.

Is it possible for the same encyclopedia entry to have more than one Root? I can't seem to figure out how.
For encyclopedia #36590 someone edited his root to be 'Artist' because he has CDs in the DB (ex: item #112748)
But he also has a figure, which should make the root 'Characters', as I've been told before: item #107512
What should we do in this case?

On a recent figure, a mod changed the release date a month earlier with the comment:
"usually fb koto page add +1 month to the original release date.. maybe cause their products usually are out at the end of the month"
Since when are we setting release dates based on past trends instead of using the actual date specified by manufacturers? Is this being standard practice now? If that were the case, why not just automatically add at least 6 mo to any release date from Orchid Seed or 2 months to anything from GSC?

Green names = VIB, not MOD. ^^;
The information should be what the manufacturer has stated.
But they probably meant more along the lines of the US release (stated on the english Koto FB) is a month behind the Japanese one.
