Profile-
Yui made her debut as a singer in 2005 with Omna Magni, produced by Yoko Kanno and the ending theme song of TV animation Soseino Aquarion. In April the same year, she also made her debut as a voice actress, starring as heroine Sakura in TV animation Tsubasa Chronicle on NHK Educational TV.

In 2006, she released two songs from TV Tokyo animation ARIA the NATURAL, namely theme song Euphoria and inserted song Amefuribana.

In 2008, Yui released single Spirale, opening theme of TV Tokyo animation ARIA the ORIGINATION, coupled with the anime’s insert song Yokogao.

In 2009, Yui spread the field of activity toward overseas.
She visited France in July to join Japan Expo as a stage performer. Totally 6,000 audience gathered the venue and got excited with her stage. Yui also joined New York Anime Festival in September as “a guest of honor”.

On March 3 2010, she released new single Fuwa Fuwa♪ and was on power-play song list on couple of FM/AM radio stations nationwide.

In June, Yui made her 1st European tour in Rome and Paris and drew 1,000 local audiences.
On Aug.28, she held a solo concert at Nippon Seinenkan and sold 1,000 tickets instantly.

New single Aono Kaori is an ending theme for TV animation Soul Eater -Repeat Show-” and will be released on Nov.10.

In 2011, she voice acts as Hikaru for a big-scale animation ?gPleiades After-school” , which is a collaboration project between SUBARU (car manufacturing company) and GAINAX (animation producing company). This is viewed only on YouTube starting Feb.1

Hybrid artist Yui Makino, with both aspects of “singer” and “actress” will keep on her activity both in Japan and overseas.
