Has anyone ever ordered from this store? I can't find any reviews for them and they have a few things I've been looking for:

Oooh, it looks like they offer pre-orders for the exclusive Touhou nendoroids too. I'd like to know a review as well, anything to get away from Otacute xDDD

I did. ^^
Ordered the Snow Miku Nendoroid there... x3
Very nice customer service, they shipped her out fast and she was really well packaged.
No problems... ^^

Got my order as well.
It was for a Kotobukiya exclusive item. At first it was "out of stock - on special order" on their website but still available on the Kotobukiya website so I emailed them to ask if it was still possible to get the figure. I got an answear very fast (didn't expected it since it was after 7pm) and they made it available again for me to order. The figure was well protected with bubble wrap and paper.
The only bad point is that you have to pay right away for pre-orders.

Do they mark parcels as gift?
I'm considering order with them as well. But their shipping cost seem a bit high.

Yes it is expensive to ship from France =/
But there are 2 things to point out :
- since you're not living in the UE, prices are 15% lower
Prices listed on the website are in EUROS, and include all French taxes (19.6% VAT). Shipping fees are not included. If you reside in a country outside the EU, the VAT doesn't apply to you. Prices will therefore be discounted by about 15% once you are registered and logged in.
- The store will move to Japan at the end of the month, and I believe shipping from Japan is cheaper than from France so you may want to check/wait before you make your order. Also since they won't have to pay for the import VAT, they might lower the prices for everyone.
Products whose release dates are late September and later will therefore be shipped from Japan. No shipment will be sent from France anymore past that date. Please take note of that detail when placing an order. No extra shipping fees will be requested from you for orders placed before our move to Japan.
You'll have to ask for the gift part, but it may be possible since :
We will also do our utmost best to try and spare you from customs fees.
;-)

Yeah, I didn't see the 15% discount until I started the process of registering with them. When I saw it I immediately went back to look for more stuff to buy. LOL
But I did ask them to mark my parcel as a gift, didn't get any confirmation they would do it though.
But they've already shipped out my order. Shipped within 24hours of payment with a tracking number.
So good so far.
Once my order from them arrives I'll take pictures of the packing and do a little review.

Can anyone tell me how much their shipping usually is? I live in the U.S., by the way.
I'd just like an estimate, before I buy something. :>

Yeah, the figure's not being released until June, but like most people I want to pay as little as possible. >_<

They tell you the shipping cost when you go to checkout.Do I have to commit to buy before I can see how much shipping is going to cost me?
And I wonder how they'd know the shipping cost of a figure that hasn't even been made yet. They wouldn't know the figure's weight. Hence why earlier I asked what the cost of shipping usually is; I want to know how much shipping people have been paying for this store.
Also, I realized that earlier I said the figure I wanted was 5000 yen more, when it's actually 3000 more. My mistake.

No, once you get to the shipping page you can still exit out of it.
I'm not sure how they know how much it will be, though. ._.; Maybe they charge by how many items there are?

I found out about Big in Japan when I was trying to find a way to get the Flandre Scarlet nendoroid. I'm a bit hesitant when it comes to buying online, but I really wanted to get her. ;_; I was also hesitant because I don't play Touhou but I've always liked her design. But now, I feel much more confident thanks to the comments in this thread. I hope I can get a very good experience from this store, too. <3
I choose SAL shipping for her and my total came up to 4080 yen. 3600 for the nendoroid and 480 for shipping. They'll tell you the shipping prices during checkout, so you'll know how much to pay beforehand. They also let you pay immediately or when your order is ready to ship, so that's nice~.

Do these guys send order confirmation emails?
I haven't received any and just want to be sure. I also asked them via email but I'm still awaiting their reply.
UPDATE :
Never mind. Asked via their site just now and got a fast reply. If you pay upon pre-order you'll get an email notification and if not you'll get it when your item is in stock and ready to ship. As long as the order is reflected in your order history all is as it should be either way.

These guys are pretty good, especially the part when they said they will lower custom value/gift marking.
This will make many buyers happy =)

Well, I just diverted a bunch of my preorders to them so here's to hoping they're great. AmiAmi was just getting too expensive on shipping, even for small stuff whereas BiJ seems to be quite reasonable.
