In other news, there has been lots of progress on the western version of ef - the first tale lately. Alpha testing has been done a while ago and we should soon start the beta testing. Check out Mangagamer's Blog and the NNL website for more news soon.

It's the "real" Mizuki Hayama (written as 水姫, with the Kanji for 'water').

View SpoilerThe well-known Mizuki Hayama encyclopedia #2284 went by the name Miki until she was adopted by Renji's aunt. Miki was an orphan since she was the only survivor of a family suicide. Her parents drove their car down a cliff into the sea.
The "real" Mizuki Hayama died at young age. She drowned in the sea while playing. (! Here's why 'Miki' Mizuki has her name written without the Kanji for water.)

You see, 'Miki' Mizuki got her second chance from the sea while 'Water' Mizuki lost her life in it.

However, since ef - Tenshi no Nichiyoubi features alternative world scenarios, there is a complete chapter featuring 'Water' Mizuki, assuming she never died.
