Xiphon (1 year ago) #1261956Sorry I meant it can be found on sites such as Mandarake. Prices can be a bit inflated but I reckon they will drop.
Aaaah. Well, that's something too I suppose. What's the going rate?

Here I'm still waiting for Insane Black Rock Shooter and Super Sonico to pop up somewhere too.

Muntoe (1 year ago) #1234493@iMiDGiT: Well...I just take out the joint from another head and use it on the head I want haha. I know a lot of people contact GSC about joints and other broken things but I'm not sure if they'd be willing to replace one joint for you. Worth a try emailing them I guess haha When I was contacting GSC' customer service about Yuki Miku's parts I also asked them if they can send me 3 extra joints. They send me 6 joints instead, so it's worth to contact them :)

Muntoe (1 year ago) #1234493There are very rare cases where some sellers accept foreigner Paypal addresses but most of the time you're out of luck and need a proxy :c
Rats! Guess I might just need to bite the bullet on, at the very least, getting Sayaka then. If it were any other Meguca it'd be one thing, but Sayaka's another story.

meteorstormed (1 year ago) #1232726Yeah, I actually do buy a bit from Jungle - but the prices/selection on a lot don't really compare.
Is it possible for someone to buy Yahoo Japan without the use of a middleman?

Muntoe (1 year ago) #1232066I've had nendo joints stuck in heads before and there is a way to get it out...I heat up the tip of a paperclip or needle in a candle flame and then stick that into the plastic neck joint. It ruins the broken joint but the heat will cause the plastic to deform so you can just pull it out. Alternatively you may want to try small tweezers.

I'll try tweezers. I'm scared of accidentally ruining the face. After I get the joint out, what do I do? I'd be missing a joint.

Muntoe (1 year ago) #1232714It's not much at all but sometimes Jungle puts nendoroids up: (ext link) Alternatively if you really want to get some Yahoo Japan sells some pretty low. Just watch out for bootlegs because they seem to be becoming more popular on there...

Does anyone know of any good websites for buying older nendoroids? I've found myself super ultimate permabanned from Mandarake for reasons I can't even begin to fathom, and I was just ordering a set of BRS nendos along with some other gems.

iMiDGiT (1 year ago) #1231755My Cirno nendoroid also had a broken joint for her default head. Half of it is stuck in the face while the other half is broken. Using the crying face for now. Hopefully I can get a new one from GSC, but I don't think so since I would need a replacement face also.I've had nendo joints stuck in heads before and there is a way to get it out...I heat up the tip of a paperclip or needle in a candle flame and then stick that into the plastic neck joint. Finally set up all of my Touhou nendoroids.
The Touhou petits are a PAIN. Putting the plastic joint in is freaking hard. The joint for Alice even broke, so hopefully I can get a new one from GSC.

Also ripped my Sakuya box when trying to open it.

A lot of bad experiences with the Touhou nendoroids so far, but they are cute so I think the trouble is worth it.

Zawa (1 year ago) #1215454Hi there, I just received my Nendo Stocking and found that all her parts have this weird white coating on them. I wiped most of it off with a wet cloth, but some of it is still there. Should I wash the parts with soap or something? She's only my second Nendo, so I'm not sure how to clean her ^^;

I don't see you damaging her unless you scrub too hard and accidentally rub off some paint, or use a cleaning solution that reacts to the figure. I would wash her gently, as much as you can with water, and only resort to a very basic soap if you need to.
