Alter's version of lefty bass player Mio Akiyama is almost perfect. They did a great job overall, and it is easy to see the care with which she was both sculpted and painted. Alter must have known fans of a character as popular as Mio would accept nothing but the best. In this case, as well as in the cases of most of Alter's figures, they delivered...

fishnoseIt may be nicely sculpted, but the pose is idiotic. No bass player ever, ever has their pick by their ear. A guitarist maybe... but a bassist? Not a chance.
Very few bassists use a pick at all for that matter.
She mostly looks like she's on the phone, it's ridiculous. Such a pity.
I play both guitar and bass myself (and I'm lefty), and this pose looks sooo stupid.
I'm getting the Kotobukiya version :D
you could get the Alter Mio school festival version :p

omg i never expected receive this month !!!
it was shipped at 16 feb and it arrive today 23 feb its exactly 1 week ( SAL to Belgium )
the figure self is gorgeous and so far one of mine best figure ( until Azu nyan alter get release )

Mine was shipped on 3 February and i still havent received it yet
If you're all the way in the Netherlands, prepare to wait easily more than a month because SAL has very low priority for space. It can just sit some place forever until they have room for it. Glad I'm in California, USA. SAL takes two weeks MAX.

The pose says that shes jumping, not playing the guitar so no prob for me ^__^
