The test suit isn't the best I've seen, but it has an originality that this one doesn't has, and it looks pretty good on this figure: link

Nice butt too... In the end it's only a matter of tastes.
I might like it if it wasn't for that ugly white grid pattern. It DOES look like a test suit in that sense, but it doesn't look very aesthetically pleasing.

My only issue with it really is that it's too expensive considering it's Kotobukiya. I'll probably wait for photos before I order it =/

BIPSYBut that's one thing that makes figures great, there's enough variety out there that you don't have to like everything that comes down the line!
It's actually pretty cool when you think about it. That there could be such variety and differentiating opinions in a hobby that some could consider niche. Even nendoroids and figmas are things I did not expect to be so popular when I first started collecting.
BIPSYand I'm not complaining about the butt either

Wow... maybe its just me, but to be honest this figure is exactly what I had hoped for. Love the pink suit (I was actually hoping they didn't use the bulky green one), love the Beast-Mode base, love the face sculpt, and I'm not complaining about the butt either :)
But that's one thing that makes figures great, there's enough variety out there that you don't have to like everything that comes down the line!

AkaOrdered, but only to complete the set. Not overly fond of the figure so far.
Compared to the previous, and gorgeous, Asuka this Mari is disappointing =(

I actually like the base more than her pose. I think the pink looks better for the set than green would.
KamuginIf they had used her green/white test suit and her original eva this figure could be much more nice =(
Eh, It would be cool if they make another version.
But I am definitely getting this to add to the set. I love sets!
