I adjusted to -70 the TV lag. It's ok for me now.
p38lightning7 (3 years ago) #1746223I had already tried that, it made it worse.

bd83 (3 years ago) #1727222Check out the options (option 2, I think...) and calibrate the button timing to compensate for TV lag. I didn't do this at first and it was very challenging getting the buttons exactly right. But after setting it up, the timing became very accurate. Give it a try. :)I had already tried that, it made it worse.

I'm playing it and I didn't find any of these problems... Star notes are easy to press since it's just moving the analog sticks...and you can move to any direction and with your both hands!

If you are having sound delay or something, try to set in the ps3 configurations to have more than one audio, and plug the A/V cable (the red/yellow/white one) to an external sound device like home theater or computer speakers! After this, just turn off the tv volume and play.

This is the only way to play rhythm games like Rocksmith or Guitar Hero without sound problems (HDMI has problems to rhythm games)

Don't know if it can help you so sorry if it can't .

kemando (4 years ago) #1468444I love the game, but I'm wondering if I'm the only one with this issue, the game is really hard to play because it's hard to see the button queues against the colorful flashy backgrounds, so I miss buttons simply because I can't see that they're there.
Am I the only one with this problem? Also is there any way to maybe, dim the background in the options menu, so the button queues stand out more against the background?
Happened to me too in the start, but after playing a few times I know what buttons there are and and when to press them. In world's end umbrella there's a scene with so much yellow that my tv makes it a bit blurry and I first missed what there was.

it happened to me a couple of times, i dont think there is a way to dim the background. theres a section of world's end dancehall song that makes my eyes hurt x_o once you play a song a couple of times you should pick up on what part you always mess up on and just try to focus extra hard on those parts.

not sure if it will entirely help but i kept missing a lot of buttons on the song freely tomorrow, because i was using the default character for the song (miku) and her outfit/hair was kinda obscuring the buttons when the camera zooms in on her. i switched to luka/meiko and did a lot better. though some songs (aka world's end dancehall) it won't help switching characters because the video for that song is ridiculously neon/bright.

if you're having trouble use a help item: コンボガード it's a combo assist that converts 30 safes/sad to keep your combo going. even if you completely miss the hard to see buttons it should help you chain combos on the rest of the song and help you pass it.
