I confirm that I payed 5880 yen for her last April (first re release). Taking into account 4% or so inflation that would make her equivalent price today about 6110 yen. Ami Ami has her for 6630. So I think it is a combination of the fact that Griffon raising their prices to keep up with inflation and Ami Ami listing her with a greater percentage saving for the customer, I think it was around 15% instead of 7%.

I am pretty sure they can do this is Griffon has quite the monopoly on prepainted the 1/8 scale Touhou Project figures and they are probably pretty confident that Youmu, been quite the popular girl would sell out quickly once again.

As an owner I suggest that you get her she is very quite and well done sculpt.

I was thinking Griffon rose their price to match the new figures :/
I'm not angry, just sort of disappointed because I have to be really picky with which characters I can get.

What if they can't get it for the same distributor price anymore? We dunno :/
