I personally haven't had leaning problems with any of my figures, but I keep them in a glass case away from any heat sources as much as possible, so that may help.

Anyhow, yeah. I don't have proper storage methods currently. My stuff is just kind of out in the open and collecting dust. On an entertainment center, subject to rising heat. I need to hit Ikea for a good display case.

Thankfully, not too many of my figures otherwise lean, besides a couple of notorious ones.

SythellriHow hot is it where you live? I live in ~15C weather and mine is not leaning. I bought her release day.I live in New Mexico. I got mine on release too. At the time, it was actually a pretty hot and abnormally humid summer. I also had it in a place where heat rises. I'll have to repair the figure and put it in a cooler place next time, lol. Thankfully, I only have three figures with any real leaning problems.
