I really love the costume design, but indeed the hair and face are a little off. I own the Yui one, though that one is nice :) In general it's still quite a nice figure, even though the one Alter made is better. But when you attach her to the base, the pose looks so weird, she looks like she's bending backwards way too much
I love the guitar, the strings and paint job are amazing up close, the detail is phenominal. Unfortunatley there's something about her face/hair that throws me off :/

While those may be facts, it doesnt take away from the fact that ALTER's Mio figure is better than this one if only prooven by sales alone.
Couldn't agree more, plus the damn base on this one doesn't match nor look good.
But I guess others like it while some don't so it all depends on their taste.

This version has a far, far better musician pose than the Alter version. The Alter one has her with her pick hand by her ear, like she's on the phone....
1. Very, very few bass players use a pick at all.
2. None ever wave their hands by their ears. A guitarist might, maybe, but never a bass player. Never!
Ridiculous, in fact.
I know these things - I play both guitar and bass.
You're absolutely right. My neighbor plays bass XD

I know I ordered this version but mine has a blue base, like the limited is suppose to have.....
Re-release (ext link)
So this one is made by MOVIC & Koto as well?
Aye...doesn't seem like MOVIC is making much of anything by themselves anymore? Not that thats a bad thing considering all they made was non-descript forgettable figures before this partnership or whatever it is... >_>

I'm wondering if this a good figure to get since it is getting re-released. I'm looking for a good mio figure, and I really like this :D
