ryun84 (1 year ago) #5659629Won't know if even the box will be different until the release, I guess.

I don't think the box will be any different since Gecco's boxes are mostly in English. They might slap a "worldwide"-tag like some other companies who releases "english" editions(which is pretty much the japanese box but with a sticker in english).

BloodFlower (1 year ago) #5587332Where did you see that the blue one's getting a re-release?
EDIT: Found it. But it seems like it's getting a exclusive outside of Japan "re-release"(technically not a re-release as the item was Japan only first time around). D4 Toys is releasing it together with the green one: www.d4toys.com/...

Nice find, thanks for the link. Looks like there aren't any changes to the figure from the Japan-only version. Couldn't find any info about the number that will be sold on the D4 site. Won't know if even the box will be different until the release, I guess.

ryun84 (1 year ago) #5189338Well, I just bought this one a few days ago only to find out about a re-release yesterday... Ugh. Horrible timing. So much for the limited aspect of the blue version. At least the amount I paid wasn't too inflated. Would like it to still be limited in the re-release numbers, but we'll see.

Amazon listed a September release for them, so I pre-ordered it as I knew I would have the money by then. But I got a notification literally yesterday saying my order had been paid for and been shipped with no update or heads up on a date change of any kind. Its still bloody August for petes sake. This annoyed the hell out of me, because I hardly had any money left in my bank account. Had it been about $20 more, my account would have bounced. I like Amazon, but they kind of screwed me this time, so I am probably gonna have to return it -_-.

DarkMario616 (3 years ago) #2067796Yah I don't buy that comics infinity BS. My final proxy cost is around $185. How the hell did they secure some blue robbies from a japanese exclusive site??

I took the risk and ordered him from Comics Infinity. He came in the mail about a week ago and only cost me $130 plus $15 for shipping. :)

Frickin_Chicken (3 years ago) #2146521It was probably exclusive to one store within Japan only, kind of like the exclusive Pyramid Head statue that was also available at SDCC in the US. At least that's what I'm hoping!

I see! I won't be heartbroken if I can't get one after all, but blue is my favorite color. :P

Buoysel (3 years ago) #2132383Does anyone know how Amazon is able to sell a figure that is supposed to be exclusive to a specific store? I've tried looking into it myself, but my Google-fu hasn't yielded any answers. I preordered Heather and both Robbies from Amazon so I'm crossing my fingers that they truly will stock them!
