UnlimitedCodes (5 months ago) #2013183sounds like a scam.

TLGS is a one man business! He probably has problems with the custom boxes he gets for every figure! As it was New Years Holidays in Hong Kong everything gets massive delays. It sucks but can't be helped. If people want their figures sooner they should order at bigger shops.

lucy4 (4 months ago) #2069089It's like I said before,if you don't want to wait too long buy from a big shop like Amiami,HLJ,etc...
I mean the guy is running the shop alone so he has already enough stress,Im also pretty sure that he is quite outraged about the situation himself. It is really the manufacturers fault for not delivering. I mean he can't just make the figures appear out of thin air,can he?

As me and others have said earlier it is mainly the fact that the guy running TGLS is not giving us any information at all about the statuses of our orders. He very rarely answers any questions about the orders and when does he gives very little information. Its this that is annoying and even a bit worrying, not the wait itself.

Mine also arrived from TGLS. What an ordeal this has been, but i'm just thankful this is over.

Personally, I thought the packaging for my figure was fine and the box didn't seem to be damaged at all. I thought about not opening him and just selling him, waiting for another Levi but he looked pretty good through the box so i decided to open him. His face actually wasn't that bad and pretty satisfactory. Sure it's not perfect, but it's not horrible either. Sculpt, paint job, and even the base are either fine, or good. In general I'd say this figure is pretty good, but probably won't be the definitive Levi. The 3DMG is an absolute bitch to put on the AoT figures and this was no exception. This figure actually looks pretty decent from afar, it's just when you look at it really closely you notice some flaws it has.

Though all of it wasn't necessarily his fault, I know who I won't be shopping with again though.

Mine arrived from TGLS as well. Box had a few dings in one corner, but is in good shape otherwise.

Did anyone else have trouble getting the tubing in place on this thing? I couldn't get them to stay on, and from all the times I had to take the large side pieces of the 3D mobility gear off, the peg broke off the left-hand side one (his arm seems to extend so far down that it takes some work to get it back in if you take it out). I gave up on the tubing after that, but with that silver center piece holding the two large mobility gear pieces together, it's hanging in place and you can't tell the peg is gone on it unless you look really hard.

Other than that, really beautiful figure, it looks great on my shelf. Really glad to finally have this. :)

Finalyyyyy got mine from TGLS.
Sorry to rant on about his horrible business, but I just had to say aside from the horrible service, the packaging was horrible. The box was damaged, luckily I did plan to open it and leave him for display.

Now for my review on Levi Sentinel,

I was really impressed with the detail in his face – a lot better than I had expected.
I don't know about most of you, but I don't mind the scale, he's Levi lol.
The paint detail on the jacket could be a little cleaner, but at least the back and is done really nicely.

The paintjob on the stand is a little sloppy, but overall the figure is solid.
Do I regret not waiting for Kotobukiya? Yes, but I only plan to get their Mikasa.

Just got mine in yesterday but looks like I will unfortunately have to part with him as I need money for bills!

Anyone interested in buying him from me send me a PM. Looking to get at least $65 for him.

Okkiedokkie~ ♥ So finally received him this morning!!! After 6 months, he finally came to me.. and I'm sorry TGLS, but this will probably be the last time I order from you ( p′︵‵。) unless is an emergency....

Now onto the figure itself// well.. yes, his face was DEFINITELY sugar coated way TOO much, my expectations re-appeared after people started saying that it was the camera's/lighting/angle blah blah fault.. but to me, looks just the same as it does in the pictures.. is okay however~ IS NOT TERRIBLE and stills a Levi face to me (´;ω;`)~
ONE OF MY BIGGEST disappointments though is his skin tone because I was really hoping it would be a grey-ish tone as it was shown in the initial pictures// TT well... my final thoughts are, he's NOT the figure I thought he'd be when I placed my PO, but he's not terrible either, I can see Levi in him (^-^*)! ♥ soo I'm displaying him with pride!

This was my first Levi figure so I'm a little biased when I say I love it, but I was definitely disappointed with the paint job not being the same as the initial photos if only for the fact that he's not as greyed out as they first showed him to be. This was super disappointing since that was a huge reason why I liked him so much, haha. The shading on the shirt and cravat bug me a lot (idk why they didn't just put grey in between the folds, instead of the weird gradient effect??? seems like it'd take the same amount of effort..), and the stand is atrocious ahaha, but it's still very lovely, imo! <3

rumichuu (9 days ago) #2259665finally...got the figure. will be writing extreme negative feedback on shop review page.
anyway on topic. imo his face was completely sugar coated. that's not to say everyone was BSing, to each their own, but to me his face is as bad as the photos say. it's quite irritating since i now I really want the kotobukiya one instead...i shouldn't have been so hasty. quality is meh. sentinel's initial photos during first release PO period ended up being an entirely different figure that doesn't even exist.

I really understand what you mean. Well. My figure did not arrive yet, but I'm as well already more for the Koto version, because I like the dynamic pose and especially his face even better and I'm actually not sure if I'm going to keep the Sentinel's one if I finally got him. I regret as well being too hasty with ordering. (did you get him through GLS as well?) I guess If I had not ordered it there, then I would have already ordered Koto's instead. :(
