I'd be interested in buying an assembled, painted one from someone... :)

riringo (3 years ago) #2096008You can see the shading on the top of his head and in that shirt fold under his boobies chest though. ._.
Even then, I think you'll be fine! Honestly this kit isn't that difficult to paint since there aren't any tricky textures or specialized art styles you need to worry about (unlike ITEM #143565 for example). You just need a small brush and a steady hand for the small lines, but it's all pretty straightforward. :)

Hmmm, maybe you're right. It'd be waaaaaay easier if somebody PVCed him -_- Guess Ledo's boobielessness is to blame.

Thanks :) Color resin is a huge advantage for newbies (esp comparing with regular GKs)! At least you don't have to worry about applying base color.

BadWolfVindici (3 years ago) #2095678Official photos are official photos - they always are a little too perfect, but PICTURE #953892 was taken at the event, and there aren't lines painted and shading visible so that's why I thought that maybe he should look like that out of the box with decals attached. Well, guess we'll see that in May) I'm gonna take a leap of faith and personally see how bad things actually are :D Wish me luck.

riringo (3 years ago) #2095620Oh yea, it's a bit difficult to see the shading in that pic because the lighting isn't great, but in the official ones it's easier to see that at least his hair and shirt are shaded (especially PICTURE #970879 the area between his shoulders have been darkened). I think his pants/suit might also have a matte coating since naked resin can be uh quite shiny sometimes.

BadWolfVindici (3 years ago) #2095351yeah, I think I should've specified this bit about decals. But I don't see any shading on Ledo either. Or just too used to seeing it?)
You reminded me that question about CharaGumin line poped up here not so long ago too)

riringo (3 years ago) #2095308That might be a bit misleading since out of the box, charagumins have zero shading and no decals applied. They are literally chunks of coloured resin (as opposed to uncoloured resin in regular kits). This review www.tomopop.com... shows what you can expect a kit to look like. ^^
