Lulles (8 months ago) #19646127I love Armin but there's something about this nendo's face that bothers me, and I can't put my finger on the why. Maybe his face is too round/chubby? I'm not sure.
Same thing here. I don't think it's Nendoroid's fault, tough. Even Real Action Heroes didn't do his face that nice. Figma version looks great, but those are always spot-on.
I have Eren coming, Mikasa is already here and Levi + Erwin will arrive in January. I don't think about buying Armin. As you said, something with his face is wrong. My mind doesn't register this Nendo as Armin.

I'd buy him, if there was a re-release, tough. For the price he goes at the moment (7000 yen) it's not too good.

Titan_Scientist (6 months ago) #21510725One of mine was like that - you basically just have to force it in.skaisnotdead (6 months ago) #21510711Has anyone else had trouble getting the 3d gear to attach to him? I can't even get him on his stand :C The hole in his back is too small.
3D Gear is sturdy on every AOT Nendoroid. It pissed me off a few times and the only tip I have for you is this: find a pose you want, remove the blades end, carefully attach 3d gear, then put the blades back in. You really need to understand how it works and which part is best to be put on first.

After I successfully attached mine, I am still afraid to touch it, haha. But it's possible, just be gentle with it.
