scabbot (6 months ago) #21540335That’s what I’m wondering. With some, it’s obvious (wrong hair color, wrong expression, bad joins) but with this one.... The only difference seems to be (maybe) the body shading (it looks orangey-yellow in these bootleg shots).
That said, with an eBay price that high, I’d suggest looking for a used one here or from an MFC-approved vendor.
But ultimately this kind of question (which was mine, too) it seems like it would be nice to have some kind of a “Bootleg/Counterfeit ID Tips” area -- even if it’s just in the comments on a BL/C photo.

I know!!!! this seller has 100% positive feedback almost 300 positive feedbacks but his original price is 240 and 30 usd for shipping. It's pricey, I asked for 200 for everything he said he can do 230 for everything. It's still pricey so I declined he said its new other, and it comes with the box. IDK if its the original box but does the fake even comes with a box? I looked at the bootleg one but its hard to campare to the original.

Aurora08 (6 months ago) #21531136how can you tell if it's bootleg or not? coz I've seen one on ebay the price is 230 usd, is there a difference with the box?

scabbot (6 months ago) #21518033I agree. It would be REALLY nice to have identifying characteristics pointed out in the bootleg pix (or the comments on those pix).
It looks like maybe the bootlegs have a more obvious yellow/orange shading in the torso area, can anyone confirm? Or is it the lack of pink in the mouth? And while we're at it, should the box have a hologram?

bellirama (8 months ago) #20163648I know there are counterfeits/bootlegs but from the pictures i've seen around I can't really tell the difference.

I must confess, I've fell in love with this figurine, but there is no way i'm spending hundreds of dollars for the original.
I know there are counterfeits/bootlegs but from the pictures i've seen around I can't really tell the difference.

Can someone give me their opinion?
Thanks in advance
