I guess the one that I got on eBay was a bootleg after all, the plastic sword broke in like 3 different places today while I was washing the dust off of it, talk about cheap plastic.
I threw the figure away in the garbage. I dont think ill buy another one of these, the detail wasnt that good anyhow. I will just wait for Alter, Megahouse, or another reputable company to make a good Clare figure.

Awww, sorry to hear that. Well if you paid it cheap and it has a few minor scratches, its not a big deal ... Unless you keep your figures maniacaly in their boxes, at one time or another you will end scratching them a little if you manipulate them a lot.
I think ill throw the box for this one away since it came pretty banged up anyways (some of the sides were broken/torn). I havent tried to fix the scratches yet until I took pictures of it and sent them to the seller but it looks like the paint is lifted off in some areas too. The seller did however give me a refund so I canceled my paypal claim and promised not to leave negative feedback. I got my money back and I dont have to ship the item back.
I will just display the figure along with my other small/not so detailed figures that I have outside of the display cases.
I got the figure today (after like 2-3 weeks, looks like the eBay seller used SAL). The box was in pretty bad shape, it was packaged in bubble paper with paper around it and it had a string around it with some stamps. It came from Hong Kong, the figure says "Made in China" but so do the authentic ones.
The biggest issue that I have though is that the figure came full of scratches on its back, belt, and cape. It also seems to be missing one of the pieces of the base to hold the figure in place. Basically it looks like the guy put something used back inside of its box after playing with it and resold it listed as new.
Needless to say I filed a paypal claim.

Unless you keep your figures maniacaly in their boxes, at one time or another you will end scratching them a little if you manipulate them a lot. My shelves are quite crowded with figures and sometimes a few of them are slightly damaged by others. I have some hidden points of glue in some limbs articulations of 10 % of my figs and i don't count the scratches on the mirror bases. Figs are mass products, most of them will never be solid investments, they are to live, age (even if we try our best to protect them). You can repaint them a bit if you own a compressor and aerograph but you need some skill at.

They have a ton of these for sale on eBay for around $30 shipped. I ordered one myself, we will see how it goes when it arrives.
She is re-released. Good for me, who wanted her but not as fake. 42€ without shipping on HLJ.
