Just got mine unpacked, bought it as "severely damaged" on Mandarake for about 9k. All that was wrong was a small mark in the paint on the handle of her scythe, hardly noticeable and hidden when assembled.

CielExo (1 month ago) #2015327I really want to buy her and the other BRS figures, but the one thing that worries me is the chains coming out of the base. They look so prone to snapping because of how thin they are.
Or are they made out of a softer plastic that allows for some bend?

I have the whole set now, and there's no real problem with the durability of the chains. The bigger ones are tough enough to hold their own and the smaller ones are a lot more flexible. I was a little nervous putting the first one together, but by the last one I have no more worries.

Worst thing I've encountered was Black Gold Saw's leg wasn't glued on properly from the knee down, and was loose, but she stands right in it and you wouldn't know the difference looking at her. And the big black stone that's stuck to a chain was broken off and loose in the box. This was likely due to poor handling in the mail and was easily fixed with a drop of good glue.

They're not easy to break and you can bend them 20 degrees easily without breaking them
pretty flexible for a figure part

AdvanceRatio (1 month ago) #2015681I've got the 1/8th Black Gold Saw and Insane BRS, and the thicker chains on it are strong enough that I'm not worried about the snapping. The thinner ones are very flexible, so that's no worries there, either.

It was the thin ones that I was worried about for sure, thank you!

From what I've seen of videos, the chains are soft enough to flex around in so much as they won't snap off from moving the figure around or simply touching them. They're pretty much like twigs off a tree. Should probably get a second opinion from someone who actually owns it though.
