ShadowVII (1 month ago) #25914194Got a reply from Tsume. They said it could have been due to heat exposure. They did offer a replacement. But oddly enough couldn't guarantee a better well centered hand on Lucy. I might as well keep this one, as I guess that I have to pay for additional shipping costs in the end.

Thanks for telling me, that's nice of you. It seems like a lot of pieces have been exposed to that heat then... that's -again- one more issue Tsume has to face...
The fact they say themselves they can't assure a better product enhance there are still many improvements required.
Yeah, I feel like it would be tedious to change it (even more if the other one present the same issue). Anyway you should ask them for free shipping, they're to blame, they might accept by any chance. As for me, I'll keep mine as I said earlier...

ShadowVII (1 month ago) #25804158Yeah, I'll let you know once I know more. Does get tedious having to go and mail Tsume about some flaw that supposedly shouldn't even be there to begin with. Oh well.

xkirax (1 month ago) #25803549It's not like I even forced... I put her in shape, all was ok except for the key, I left her few minutes and when I touched her again (grabbing the base to get her out of my cabinet to see if I could do something), I saw her shaking a bit, and the peg on her feet was broken... I couldn't believe what I was seeing.. but I don't think I will contact Tsume. I can pose her properly now even if she's only relying on one peg.. I don't want to spend days trying to change something they probably won't improve, (I'm still waiting for a new chain for my Obito's Xtra...) but I'm still interested by their answer. If you contact them, I'll be glad if you can let me know their response. ^^

ShadowVII (1 month ago) #25797581Dang, that's very unfortunate that the peg just broke off. But yeah, it felt the same with my figure if I would've done that. Like if I were to put too much pressure to try and move it that it would break. Could always try and heat it up but I don't really want to risk it. In your case, what you could do is contact Tsume and tell them about your defect. I'm gonna do the same and see what Tsume's got to say about this. 'Cause, I don't think it's supposed to be like that. Although it's just a small issue it's still noticable when you look at it.

xkirax (1 month ago) #25786925I got mine today and had the same problem... the key was pointed towards the water but not really in the middle of the vortex... I left her like that to see on the web if it was recurrent, and when I tried to see if I could move her a little bit forward, I saw the peg on her right foot just broke and remained blocked into the hole of her foot...just because of the pressure between both pegs...
After all... now I can put her in good position with only one peg but I'm a little bit upset towards Tsume...

ShadowVII (1 month ago) #25569492So, today I got her in the mail. When I was unboxing the figure I noticed when placing Lucy on the base that the key isn't really pointed at the middle of the water swirl. Is that a common thing or has the arm slightly bend for some reason? I reckon that key she's holding is supposed to be pointed in the middle of the water swirl, no? Cause right now it's pointing outside the water swirl. Anyone else experienced this?
