Finally lucked out and grabbed a preowned one form AmiAmi. Was hoping to pay around what I paid for Kashuu (1200 yen) but it seems like Ookurikara usually goes for 2300 yen (based on what I saw from al the times I’ve missed out on him). I’m just happy I was able to get him and now I can focus on the other Ranbu Noodle Stoppers. :)

Re-release around 24-25 July. No official source but some Amazon JP sellers have started POs.

hikaridranz (1 month ago) #21477438No box figures sold on Taobao or Aliexpress are often possible factory rejects (be it due to quality issues or overproduction) that shouldn't reach consumers. While they aren't a reproduction, here they're somewhat considered as bootlegs too.

Oh, I see, thanks for the info! I was really curious about this figure's origin because I've heard before about originals that didn't reach the quality standards being sold on Aliexpress but I can't find a fault in this one, so it's probably overproduction I guess.

Morrigan22 (2 months ago) #20287812If anyone's interested, I got him on Aliexpress for 20€ + free shipping ( it may be more expensive now because I got him on sale, but I think the original price was like 24-25 €) . I don't know if I can post links to Ali here, so if you want him just search for him there or PM me.)
The figure came without his retail box ( but well protected) and it's original,( I just posted a couple pics) It was a pleasant surprise because the seller's pics looked too good to be true, I was 98% sure I was buying a bootleg!

Myka (5 months ago) #17135889You should avoid DHL on principle. I think it's because they always have extra hidden fees. That said I would google or search around the site since the questions is very specific. There's also the reddit anime figure subreddit that may be able to answer your question. Always use SAL registered or EMS (if you want it to arrive faster and don't mind paying extra).yeah, I'll always be using SAL from now on

Titan_Scientist (5 months ago) #17135922It's legit. That's how you pay the 20% VAT/import fees with DHL (at least in the UK if you don't get it through Amazon Japan and pre-pay the import fees) - you don't get a letter, and you don't get a ParcelFarce or Royal Fail handling fee.ah I see, thanks for letting me know

xXsKuNkAyXx (5 months ago) #17135868So, DHL sent me a message on my phone saying I have to pay about £3 for import fees and I was wondering if anyone else has had to do this?
The figure was supposed to arrive today but didn't, my guess now is because I didn't pay the fee, however I wasn't too sure about it as I thought they would have either sent me a letter or an email, not a message through my phone.
I searched up about this and found that people have been getting scammed through someone claiming to be DHL so I didn't want to take the risk, also after talking about it with my dad he also told me not to pay it.
So I was just wondering if this is actually safe to do or if someone is trying to scam me?
