Just got mine today from the second batch. The paint job looks great, it's a very pretty figure. My only complaint is that Rei's left leg kind of floats in the air due to the balance. It looks a bit strange. Oh well, it was still worth getting I'd say.

Update: Rei's foot is a lot better off now. The bandages off Asuka's arm do not touch the base, but it's barely noticeable. Having Rei fixed (by herself really) makes my appreciation greater. =)

I own this figure and really want to know if koto will paint this 2nd batch properly. Mine is really screwed and IS a hot one, not a fake.

Slightly old comment, but 6800 and 7140 are the same, it's just that 7140 is with tax.

Thanks for saying so. Preordered them to go with Shinji/Kaworu. On one hand, the tones on this figure make no sense since Rei and Asuka showed no signs of even friendship in the anime, but on the other, it's a beautiful figure. =)
