Within the episodes her clothes are darker and she has dark hair. Like the GSC Version (mfc link)

I know about the color (watched the opening before), I was talking about the quality - but maybe they really just turned her butt to the front and that's what makes her look so weird to me. Plus the fact that her legs are joined together.

....I really need to watch this series, I guess.
