TaralenCan she really not hold her umbrella after a while? D:I've seen the others mention the difficulty with the umbrella, but I have mine holding it this way (maybe the way it was intended?) and it works just fine. The last link is my not so great pic.

In this manner, the parasol would be more effective as a shade, wind deflector, and privacy shield. The 19th century genteel ladies often employed it as a flirtation tool. The closer to the face to peekout from behind, the more discreet the interest could be conveyed.
