Hey there,

I've recently got into one piece and want to start my figure collection with this one. I was just wondering if any of you could confirm as to whether the swords on this one can be unsheathed so the blades are visible etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :).

I finally got him today! Assembling was quite fun, I liked how they handled the swords and the belt/scarf part separately. If they were all in one big part, there'd definitely be some coloring and sculpting issues there, but thankfully there are none (as far as I saw). I liked the face as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with this one.

Where did you find one? I've been searching Mandarake but no luck. And I don't trust eBay.

Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation!

I actually ordered him from Mandarake, but I had been checking the new arrivals for weeks. I think I was able to find him as a single item after checking the page for about 3-4 weeks o_O Yeah, I know...

If you're definitely looking for something at Mandarake, you should wait a bit until they have it in stock. And if you really want something, don't wait too long to buy it because they can disappear from the lists with the same speed they appeared. This is because (if i remember correctly), Mandarake doesn't stock mass items like other stores do. Someone places something on sale via them, they stock it in their store, they list it online; and when they sell it, it's removed from the lists - until it's back again from somewhere else. This doesn't have to apply for absolutely everything, but I think it was something like this for the items I got from them.

You can also check Yahoo Japan Auctions as always.

I love this set, the Zoro is amazing, stern and well detailed. Nicely coloured and shaded, I love it!

From the collection I currently have. I think grandline men is the best buy, prize item. They are cheap when u get them early, normally under 1500yen, very nice paint job, the downside is they are all in same high, apart from Chopper, proberbly not in scale. I am no longer collecting Figurats Zero. Bandai did a great job on the Gundams, but not the figures, the paint jobs are bad, smaller than the Grandline, but I think they are in scale, also the pose are dynamic. Megahouse POP are nice and big and dear, most of them are in 1/8 scale, I only collect the characters I like. Also I received this guy today,so happy, thousand times better than the FZ Zoro lol.
