Got him for ¥4,500 unopened on Mandarake with his little zeppelin, the shipping was something else though:(

adrikyn (1 month ago) #2288541Are you sure you're not just seeing the seamline? There's one that goes down either side of his coat and the way the paint rests on it kind of looks like a crack.

Nope, absolutely not. A seamline would look straight or curved and not move up and down so much. :(

I should make pictures of it, but I have the figure in storage right now and he probably won't come out of that for a while. ^^''

The cracks are horizontal at his waist by the way, I think you're talking about vertical seamlines in general on his coat?

Maakie (2 months ago) #2213592I'm currently moving and was packing up Kaiba today when I got a big scare! My Kaiba has cracks at his waist, at the part just before the big part of his jacket starts!!! It looks like due to the weight of the bottom part of his coat, the part that supports most of that weight (the waist) is slowly getting damages...
I bought my Kaiba at release and have displayed him since, so he has been on display for almost 2 years. The last time I cleaned him (4-5 months ago) I didn't notice these cracks yet. So it could be that it happened very recently.
Just wanted to put this out here as a general warning and to maybe find out if other people have it too!

I noticed a lot of marks on the shiny part of mine's coat after dusting him. I kinda wanna buy another one but it'll probably have similar issues. I think that glossy paint just causes problems for some reason. Anyway, he's still one of my absolute favourites.

Samezuka (6 months ago) #2025814Only the first release in 2012 had that little Initial Production bonus, if you bought it recently then he wouldn't have come with it :)

The reason I know it should have it, is because it has room in the plastic casing for it. Wouldn't make any sense having spare room with no intention to fill it..
