I received a response from Kotobukiya regarding the breaking issues for both Vash and Nicholas. According to this response, the breaking issues are being fixed with modifications to the construction of these two figures.

"Thank you for your question and interest in our Kotobukiya products.

This is Kent from Kotobukiya International sales & marketing dept..

Regarding Trigun figures’ problem you pointed out, the remedy for it is as follows.

Vash’s legs problem

The cause is that the material did not suit a glue.

We have already tackled this, and changed materials, which is suitable for the glue.

Wolfwood’s legs and base problem

We change the joint structures of legs in order to connect to the base correctly.

We appreciate it if your concern for these 2 products would be resolved.

Thank you and best regards."

The grammar seems a bit off, but it seems that the breaking issues with these figures are being resolved with this re-release. So I feel more comfortable buying these now. :D

Just got him recently. He looks great and the construction is solid. The only thing I don't like is the black cat that comes with Vash. It falls down WAY too easily. But that's a minor point.

ConcealedAllure (3 months ago) #4284281Be careful when taking the glasses out of the box! They're just taped to the box, so as I was pulling the tape off, the glasses broke. Uh I'm so mad, why would they just tape it?

So sorry to hear that Allure, I've left mine unopened till I move into my new house, but when I do set up my crew again I will be very careful, thank you for the advise!

Finally received mine and it's excellent besides his revolver like the reviews stated haha. The pegs in the base seem like a weird design choice though.

luffyluffy (3 months ago) #4651694does Kuroneko really not have anything to affix her to the base? She just sits there and then falls over.

I have the first issue of this figure and its just a loose 'figure'. Its not attacked to anything and just sits there....usually falling over.
