nope (mfc link)
With the overall look of this figure being so similar to Alter's rendition, I see no point to buying this since I already own the the latter. I feel that one captures Hanekawa better as well.
Nice....I'm a sucker for catgirls....damn it I wish I wasn't....at least she'll go nicely with the other Hanekawa figure.
I'll wait till it goes on sale, but I prefer this figure to Alter's.
Why bother when alter's version is cheaper and nicer looking.
The thing about koto is their prices are supposed to be better but when the price is higher than alter you know theres a problem lol.
Available for pre-order @ Anime-Island
one thing to say and that is "wow"
The table looks incredibly detailed and realistic and is quite impressive in itself.
However, Hanekawa as a figure really don't match up with it. She looks out of place and her colors just don't stand in good contrast with her base. Moreover, she simply looks too "clean" compared to the dirtiness of the table.
I do like this pose, because it is exactly the same when she was sitting on Araragi's bike (in episode 11). However, if they had fixed her face as well as her hair, I might have pre-ordered this figure. Paying ¥9800 for that kind of face & hair? No thanks. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll generously give this figure a 6.
If it ends up going to the bargain bin, maybe I'll reconsider my choice. ¥5000 would be a reasonable price for this one.
-___- I'm kinda disapointed.
I have Kotobukiya's Senjougahara and she looks terrific and I their Kanbaru looks great too, but this one can not compete with Altair's version IMO :/
They seem to be trying to do the same with her hair as altair and it doesn't work with the pose, the alter one had so much movement in the pose like she had just landed on that roof meanwhile this one's pose is much more relaxed so the hair being like that makes no sense, to me at least. And the same problem occurs with the base, the hair and base go together but they don't go with the pose.
Hair and base = Hanekawa smashed down on that desk with lots of energy and Nyahaha insanity (similar to altair)
Pose and face = Hanekawa lies seductively with a mischievous smile on top of a desk
one is intense the others relaxed both fine concepts and had they gone with just one I'm sure it would've been lovely but this just seems misguided and confused to me, like they wanted to do a seductive and still Hanekawa, but saw the great altair version and decided to try that too.
Anyway I still hope Koto will make more Bakemonogatari figures, like Araragi ^^ since they're making so many male figures now it might happen
I actually don't like the base at all, I mean the idea is great but why I want a battered, ugly looking school desk on display? Don't like her hair either, her face doesn't bother me that much as others.. I thought ALTER face was no good too.
One thing I love about this one are her hand's sculpt.
Either way, still no Black Hanekawa that suits my tastes..
Yup, this price, koto lost their mind for a minute I think.

I also have the Alter version of her so I think I'll just get her if she's on sale. Besides, her release date's on May and I already have Saber Motored Cuirassier pre-ordered for that month.
And that's a pricey yet worth it purchase.
Love the base. Hate the face...and the price... Yikes...
Pretty much inline with De-JaY. I just seen her on AmiAmi and not a fan of her face and the price is insane. I already have ALTER's version, which I think trumps this by far so I'll keep away from this one.
When I seen another Black Hanekawa I got excited, until I further expected her. Hopefully more companies will release her as I wouldn't mind more than one of her in collection.
amazing base, but that face... i will keep saving up for alter's version, damn shipping to south america =/
What the hell? This price is totally not Koto-like. And it's just 1/8. Apart from the fact that her face is ugly anyway. Only the base is nice. So is Koto pulling a GSC now? No thanks.

gksilkaminaWhy do figure makers always insist on giving white haired characters silver-ish hair instead? Main reason I didn't get the Alter Hanekawa and another reason why I'm not getting this one.
hey, Alter Hanekawa's hair is white. without any other tints except for the shadows.
Already order her in my local shop. I have a little hope that Kotobukiya fix her face, but this is not that big problem to give up buying this figure.
