I dunno but I like the blurry effect on the mirror. Kinda gives you the feeling it's about to unleash some other-worldly stuff.

Thanks for pointing that out. :)
The water is a combination of three materials layered on top of each other: water mat on top (you can get these in railroad hobby stores), ocean blue cellophane, and a glossy board for reflection at the bottom.
