About this picture

Now this is Sakura!

It seemed to me like a lot of people didn't know you could swap faceplates and other parts from the codes, so here's an example.

WHAT I LEARNED:

- Codes are cheaply made. The hair stained the faceplate right away, I cleaned it with some detergent right away, but she still has a brown streak under her left cheek, not really visible though. If you're scared of staining nendoroids, than I don't think you should buy them :D
- The skin color is different between the co-des and the actual nendoroid. The co-des have darker skin.
- The hair is pretty different, be it in color or shape, even the inside is different, so the older faceplates from the other Sakura don't actually let the two pieces of the hair close as they should. There's a pretty big gap.

My thoughts: I believe the co-des reflect better her skin color, I believe they chose to make the original nendoroid so light, so that we could easily swap the bodies with Tomoyo's, as she's pretty pale.

Lehst (4 months ago) #19405469I was also disappointed that Sakura's original face didn't really fit the co-de hair. : /
Wanted to do this same swap lol. at least the two co-de faces fit each other (otherwise why bother GSC?)

I don't even understand why they would make the faceplate fit completely different? The already had the molds for the faceplates and the hair should've been the same on the inside too. Why bother changing it. :o Oh well, I don't think they will release anymore if not maybe for the new series, I would really like something from Clear Card Arc! :)
