That's rarely a problem, in fact. Hayate from Hayate no Gotoku, for instance, had stands for both bodies. Meiko did not have second base, but then there are nendoroids with compatible bases that don't actually need one for display (Yozora and Archbishop, for example, can be displayed in siting position). I think I have about 5 most basic stands in parts box.
