You know, I wanted to perform this hand gesture to my supervisor last week.
I showed him a pic of my collection (mfc link) . He looked at it and then tells me "so you collect Barbies". (;¬_¬)

True, but don't the majority of figures and dolls explicitly state that they're not intended to be "toys"? They're for display only, not to be played with, so it's not entirely inaccurate.
