I first discovered what anime actually was around '93 watching the-then new Scifi Channel and their first "Adventures in Japanese Animation", I was around 12 at the time. I was already a big fan of things like Voltron, Transformers, and Lost Cities of Gold so I guess I was already a fan before I knew it.

I don't remember ever not buying figures. Sure, I may have slowed down a bit, but I can remember specifically buying shelves to put figures on when I was 16. Started with a few random things, then got back into buying Transformers Beast Wars. Back then buying anime figures was hard if you could get online to do, it's way easier now.

I'm a big fan of articulation so you wont see that many statues and fix posed PVCs in my collection. My interests lean more towards Revoltech, figma, Transformers, and other giant robots (the last two being an area of the database in much need of updating).

I estimate that I have between 1500 and 2000 figures. I know for sure that I've passed the 1000 mark in Transformers alone and that was about five years ago.
