GryphI saw Twin Peaks and My name is Earl. I liked them both. I've seen some episodes of the Big Bang Theory, but I didn't like it enough to watch it every week, sorry. As for Game of Thrones, I have not seen it, but I've heard good things about it. Maybe I will give it a try :).

Trust me, give it a chance!
Also "Dexter" is nice,but watch only the first 3 or 4 seasons... the rest is not that much...

GryphYou are correct, I was talking about Cowboy Bebop. I agree that the art is good, but I think this anime also makes the best use of music (and many different styles of music) to enhance the series :). You should watch Fringe and Avatar with your boyfriend too. It sounds like he'd enjoy them too. Please let me know if you have recommendations for me too since it sounds like we like similar shows. Thanks in advance.

Totally agree with you, Yoko Kanno is maybe the best composer I know... with Nobuo Uematsu, the one who creates all the Final fantasy's ost!
Recommendations,recommendations, let me think... not so long ago I watched "twin peaks" by David Lynch... I know is an old series but it doesn't be affected by time and it's "weird" and strange enough to catch your attention!
At the moment I'm waiting for the second season of The game of thrones, have you ever watch it??
I see the first one and I consider it probably the best fantasy series ever!
I watch "silly" shows also like The big bang theory or My name is Earl... do you know these?

GryphThank you very much :D. You have an amazing collection! I also agree with many of your choices in TV shows. It seems like we like similar TV shows, so here are some others you may like. If you have time you should check out Battlestar Galactica (newer version, not the one from the 70's/80's), Fringe (still on-going), and Avatar The Last Air Bender (the cartoon series, not the movie). Enjoy!

I've never seen Fringe nor Avatar but if my pc will cooperate with me I'll take a look at them soon...
I notice that you watch "bebop"... if you're talking 'bout cowboy bebop we've the same taste: I think it's one of the most beautiful anime in the world!
