Nothing about me really...i started this evil hobby back when i was an exchange student in Shanghai. There, i met heavy enthusiastic anime fans, collectors and cosplayers. That is when i made contact with my first PVC figure ever: Saber Triumphant Excalibur. From there as you can see my collection has proliferated at a faster rate than my mating guinea pigs.

Outside figures I enjoy learning languages. Currently I am fluent in English, Vietnamese and semi fluent in Mandarin. I am currently self studying Japanese although it is probably the most demanding language I have studied in the past. By the end of my uni days I hope to aquire 5 languages in total with German as my final one.

Any figure on my wishlist will be hunted and jewed out at any cost.

Rules for buying figures (occasionally I break them ^_^)
1. Generally must be a character I like. If not, strictly at least I have read or watched the associated series.
2. Figure Company I only buy from except in some circumstances
(1) Alter
(2) Good Smile Company
(3) Mega House
3. The face at least must accurately convey the true representation of that character.
4. Total cost for any one figure cannot exceed $150.
5. No Nendoroids, Figmas or action figures whatsoever.
6. Generally ecchi figures are avoided.
7. Unless EMS is the sole shipping method, SAL is always preferred

Lacus_ClyneSo which manufacturers specifically would you boycott from? I would like to know for my future personal interest.

Boycott is a harsh word, let's say I'm going figure by figure with them. If they look good at release then I'll get or otherwise I dodged a bullet.

My standards are high so you may not have any problems with these manufacturers. Griffon, Kotobukiya and Chara Ani. Griffon is the worse, high prices, low quality. Koto isn't as bad as their prices are "reasonable". I'm just getting stick and tired of how dull the figures look compared to the prototypes, they still turn out some nice figures but they are usually the limited/exclusives... Chara Ani, most of their stuff is just bleh. I don't want to claim they use deception but I really think they photoshop their prototypes/official photos or just use trick photography to make you think their figures are better than they are. There are others but these are the main three I'm restricting purchases from until they can demonstrate they got their act together.

Lacus_ClyneHahaha oh Wow. You know what i started collecting at the start of the year and ever since my mum keeps saying "why do you keep on bringing home skanks with super dirty hair" "long legs and pinkish butts are not worth the money!" "your room is a figurine shop!"

mine are complainign money-wise ... they think i overspend and think its too much

well my collection is even worse dont think your mom appreciates it XD they show quite some cleavage and worse are coming but my mom knows as I made up an excuse and the bondage one will be kept in my bf's room xD

hmm my room is all over and i will be getting a glasscabinet soon :P cause it soon does not fit
