1/31/11: I've been an anime fan for as long as I can remember--about 16 years. I did not start getting into collecting figures until my high school years some many years ago. At that time, I collected in moderation and was more interested in gashapon/trading figures as it seemed like the more affordable option. It was not until recently (this past year) that I committed to collecting full scale figures. My collection has grown significantly, but my wallet has shrunk a lot so I am only focusing on getting my favorite ones now. ^^;

I have also been a fan of card games since Pokemon came out. I never actually played the card game though, and just collected the cards. Then Yu-Gi-OH! cards came out and I really got into collecting/playing it for a while. But they started banning all the cards in my deck every month from tournaments so I quit playing. I still LOVE the show though =P

Besides being an otaku, I have been a gamer for just as long....(since NES came to the US). My favorite games still being Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III (aka VI). My favorite game genres are RPGs and Horror/Survival. I also dedicated a lot of time to playing MMORPGs like RO, FFXI, DFO and WoW. These days I play only WoW casually and watch anime when I have the time as work keeps me quite preoccupied.

I am also currently working towards revolutionizing my tiny room to fit all my full scale figures and to make it as otaku-like as possible. ^^y Unfortunately, I don't have any room for detolfs like everybody else I know, so I have to make due with shelves and combating dust since I like to display my figures outside their boxes ;D
