Lol I'm actually not seeing him anymore e_e' We broke up a few months ago. We tried but things didn't work out.

Because if everything came easy there would be no satisfaction in making an accomplishment! :P Haha it's not THAT hard, I've only run into a few games where it requires INTENSE use of everything on the controller. It's pretty easy to get used to the controls anyway.

It's a Kennyi Cichlid, only a baby x3 and very cute! It's a little over an inch now but It'll grow to be about 5inches long! :D Feeding it is so much fun cause it will eat right out of my fingers!

AN is in a week now :D 28-30th of May. Yeaaah I used to be good at saving but then I started collecting figurines and I owe my dad like a lot of money... so I'm trying to pay it all back.

Ehhh the problem with art classes is that I don't really want to derive from my anime style, and 99% of the time art teachers won't accept it, so there's no real point in going to art class where I'm not accepted for my style 8| Thinking about maybe taking up a sewing class or something but I want to find some financial stability, aka pay my dad back so I can work and pay off figurines and go to school without having to worry xD

Urgh, I'd rather my dad not know how I spend my money xD He already lectures me on my money spending ways, so I don't need to hear anymore from him :x and I'm too lazy to get a prepaid credit card. >_>;; a lot of the places I've talked to about it have a minimum amount you have to put on it to start (so like, if I were to get one, I'd have to have $500 to stick on it right away kinda thing) seems like a hassle for now, maybe when I can actually save up $500 but at the moment, my bank account always empties quickly.

Nope not really xD My family isn't religious, so it's like... we get chocolate eggs and that's my Easter. Lol

Yeah, I always keep telling myself I should make a backup but I find it impossible to do so b/c everything’s all spread out across like a dozen hard drives. Then again, the only really important stuff would be my family pictures and stuff, all the other stuff could prolly be, uh, re-acquired.... ;)

Well, The G-Rents need a landline, and the paranoid in me insists on one in case the apocalypse comes and all the cell towers are wiped out. When I used to live in New England and the power went out during hurricane season, the phones would be the only things that still worked. Of course, now that the landline’s being provided by the cable company, who knows? But yeah, my cell is like 25 cents a minute and the landline is unlimited, so, uh, I don’t know if it would be much cheaper.... :/

Oh, I’m glad you got your hours back! Yay! But yeah, erratic hours are no bueno. Maybe you can find something else to supplement/replace. I was just at the local teen center (yeah, it was kind of weird, but they were doing their first annual Comic Arts and Anime Teen Expo so I had to take a look XD ) and they had a job board thingy that had a list of all the places that have openings with no experience necessary. Of course it was stuff like gas stations and convenience stores, which was kind of weird, b/c I always hear on the news that those are the places that get held up. :O But you can make money and get some experience and then move on. Prolly not so bad to work in a 24-hour gas station if you’re a night owl like me. XD

LOL, well, when they’re playing around or just busting on you, that’s one thing, but when they do stuff behind your back that’s another. So you’re a half-breed? ;P lol, j/k What’s your other half? Yeah, the irony is that the ones that make fun are into comics so they got statues of like Batman and stuff everywhere and I’m just like, at least my statues are of hot chicks and not dudes in spandex. :P I’d been on here a couple of times but I never really thought about signing up. Then I wound up in the sales/deals thread through a Google search and it said I had to be a member so that’s when I signed up. I was just going to lurk the threads but everyone was like, “Welcome to the boards” and “Can’t wait to see your collection” so I was like, everyone’s so friendly, let’s give it a shot. Little did I know they were just trying to level up. ;P I’m glad I did tho, met some cool people like you and got some good deals on stuff I never knew I wanted. Ha ha, yeah, when we were kids we used to run around Walt Disney World getting autographs from Mickey and Donald and such, lol. But yeah, Iunno, I wanted to go to Sakura-Con to meet Noizi Ito but if you really think about it, you’re just another random person to them. :/ And it’s kind of weird, I see autographs on eBay or Y!JA or wherever and it’s not quite the same, even if they sign everything the same way. Maybe it’s the story or the adventure that goes along with getting the autograph, who knows.... But good luck with Yuri’s auto, I’ll let you know if he ever shows up at any cons I’m planning to attend....

Yeah, I know how that goes, I used to have a bunch of savings for a rainy day (especially since they were laying off people left and right at work) but now I have like nothing left! DX I’m screwed if I ever need to raise money, b/c I have some pretty weird tastes in figures. :P

Well, there’s nothing wrong with learning other art styles; you can always fake it through your classes. XD Who knows, you might be able to hone your skills. I’ve always wanted to take like anatomy classes and stuff so I could draw people who looked like actual people instead of with all these weird un-proportional bodies, LOL. Maybe you can con your dad into paying for your classes, Asian peoples are big into education. XD Yeah, get your dad to pay for the sewing class, then offer your services on cosplay.com so people will pay you to make costumes for them... costumes that you will use for your final project before shipping them off! You get to take a class for free and make money from that same class! LOL

Yeah, there’s usually a minimum for those secured cards. But like I said, you have to think about what’s important to you, and building a good credit history is pretty important, at least down here. You get better rates on home and auto loans, lines of credit, etc. so it’s worth it in the long run b/c it’ll actually save you money in interest. Iunno, set a savings goal of like 50 dollars a month or something, and by this time next year you’ll have more than enough! People usually save with what’s left over so they don’t save much; if you make it a point to save first, then it’ll be easier. If you get direct deposit, just have them route a certain amount automatically into like a passbook savings account every paycheck. That way you won’t even see it so you’re likely to miss it less. And with a passbook, they don’t usually issue ATM cards so the temptation to impulse get will be less. XD

D: Aww... it takes practice though, not everyone is good at video games when they first start! You also have to find the genre you're most comfortable with xD Like I don't play shooters or fighting games because I suck at them, but I like JRPGs because I'm not terrible at them and they're fun to play.

Yeaaah, my dad said he was getting me a small flat screen for Christmas last year so I can have one in my room and hang it off the wall Dx but my laptop died and needed a new hard drive so he bought me a hard drive for Christmas instead.

Dx Yeah, phones are important. Although I don't get many calls so I'd just stick with my cellphone o_o;

Yeah D': A lot of people were extremely disappointed with her. Not to mention mine was already missing pieces when I opened her =3= She was missing one ring at the end of the chain on her dagger things. lol, maybe! It' would be difficult because I can't disassemble her. It would be easier to paint when I can paint her in pieces D: since otherwise bits of her hair will obstruct the area needed to be painted.

The message on the machine was a “click” and then a bunch of people laughing and making fun of the message (“ching chong chung”, you know how it goes). I would think a manager would know how to work the phone. :/ My love for the House of Mouse never quite recovered after that.... T_T Still lurves me my Ariel, tho. <3

On vacation my sister and I saw a cockroach on it’s back on the sidewalk and instead of squishing it she snapped a picture of it! I was like, what are you doing, stomp on it! And she was like, I can’t, it’s got it’s belly up and it’s helpless and I was like, what is it, a puppy? Are you gonna rub it’s belly? What’re you gonna do when it rights itself and starts flying at your face? Of course, I didn’t stomp on it, either, lol. But mosquitos are nasty. :P

lol, I have the opposite problem b/c most of my relatives aren’t into figures, so they make fun of my collection. T_T I try not to get too many “questionable” figs, but that doesn’t really make much of a difference to them. My bad influence cousin is the only one who understands, so we feed each other’s addiction. XD I take it your family members who are into figures aren’t on TB? Yeah, there aren’t too many cool guy figs. Well, maybe there are, I wouldn’t know. ;) But most of the time, female figs are usually nicer to look at, anyway!

I don’t usually know enough about the production staffs to go for autographs, but back in my comic booking days I managed to get a few autographs from lesser known artists. I can’t deal with lines and waiting! lol so I’ve never really managed to get any big names. But I did manage to get ‘graphs from Frank Cho (Liberty Meadows) and Joe Chiodo. My aunt managed to get all (and I mean all) her Berk Breathed books signed in Long Beach last year; I could never do that -- I’m not cute enough or ballsy enough to skirt the one autograph per person rules.... T_T

Good luck! When is AN? It’s tough saving, but sometimes you just gotta make some sacrifices and go for it. In the end, you gotta figure out what’s more important for you and that’s what you save for. I totally could’ve done Sakura-Con if I’d really, really wanted to, but I also want to stay in a hotel with some locals during AX and I figured that would be more fun, so I had to give up SC. So now I’m hoping AX’ll get Noizi Ito. ;)

Hmm, well, you can always try some classes at the local junior college and see what strikes your fancy. You should be able to audit some classes for free. Or, you can just take art classes for now -- I’m sure you’re interested in that! ;) Then you can start trying other classes once you’ve gotten used to working and going to school at the same time....

lol, well, just b/c you get the cards doesn’t mean you need to actually use them! If you’re an authorized cardholder then your dad’s payment history should also become part of your history (unless his history sucks, then you don’t want to do that XD ). You can also just get a secured credit card; they work pretty much like a debit card -- you load it up and that’s what you get to spend. And lol, I’m sure there are plenty of fat, greedy American companies in Canada that you can get credit cards from. ;)

So did you do anything for Easter? I can't believe that was a month ago already! Next week is Mother's Day. Man, time flies....
