Hi,
I'm Jean-Luc and live in the Netherlands. I'm a little older than the average anime/manga fan, but I guess I'm just a late bloomer. I became interested in anime and manga (in that order) a few years ago when I was browsing through some inventories of resin kits and saw figures from Sailor Moon that I happened to see several years ago when I was interested in cartoons in general. This type of animation peeked my curiosity and it was during the browsing that I remembered this series. I saw other figures and I was wondering where they originated from, so I did some searching and ended up with Love Hina. I think this series triggered my interest in anime and I particularly liked the female characters. They were bold and there was this so-called fanservice, which I found very interesting and I still do very much; it has become one of my criteria for purchasing anime/manga and their related items. To this day, I only collect female figures, regardless of scale. I usually go for the cute or sexy characters (or a combination of them).
As for manga, I do not own many series: 8 english series; 3 still ongoing and 19 japanse series; 8 still ongoing (plus several stand-alone manga).
Regarding anime, I have a nice collection of dvd's, both european and japanese editions, of around 80 series (most of them are complete, some of them are still in the process of being acquired).
I am studying japanese; partly so I can understand my japanese manga and dvd's, but also because I like to to go on vacation to Japan.

chobittsuOh PC-games. Daar verkoop ik er ook veel van! xD Of heb je meer interesse in Japanse games? (De meeste games die ik namelijk verkoop zijn Westers.)
Ik ben inderdaad meer geïnteresseerd in Japanse games en dan voornamelijk visual novels. Ik heb er momenteel maar 3, maar als ik weer naar Japan ga wil ik eens kijken of er wat aardigs te vinden is.

MaakieIk ben gestopt met gashapons verzamelen omdat ik ze niet meer kwijt kan, dus helaas...
Qua figures heb ik alleen nog ruimte gereserveerd voor enkele preorder PVC's; als die zijn ingevuld zal ik me denk ik alleen nog gaan concentreren op DVD's en boeken (manga/magazines/art books) en eventueel pc games.

Ah, geen probleem hoor, ik sprak je er gewoon op aan omdat ik er nog veel in je collectie zag! xD
Ik ben zelf ook bezig met mijn kleine figures (gashapon, trading figures etc.) uit te dunnen en echt nog maar de kleine figures te houden (en eventueel bij te kopen) van series waar ik echt heel erg van houdt.
Oh PC-games. Daar verkoop ik er ook veel van! xD Of heb je meer interesse in Japanse games? (De meeste games die ik namelijk verkoop zijn Westers.)

Ik zie dat jij heel erg veel hentai/ecchi gashapon verzamelt en ik heb er eentje die ik zou willen verkopen, namelijk Arika van Viper V16 gemaakt door Millenium: item #146589
Misschien vind je het leuk om die te ruilen tegen 5 euro korting op het QB-boek? ^^
Laat maar weten en als je het niet wilt, dan wil ik nog steeds het QB-boek voor 10 euro! :)
