godofwar7 (2 years ago) #2610384I've had a few beat up boxes myself. Made me pretty angry. But in the end, as long as the figure is okay, then everything is okay.
It's funny because in order to offset the proxy fee and shipping, it's better to order more stuff, but if you order too much then you're stuck paying even more for shipping at FJ. That's what happened with my order anyway.
I hope to never be involved with an insurance claim. I might just eat the cost just not to deal with the headache if I'm ever in the situation. I mean I would at least give it a try to see if they can resolve it quickly, but if not, I might just eat the cost.
In return for the good service Treasure showed me, I like to see them prosper.


I just had one packaging box sort of beat up but not crushed during delivery.
I was a bit disappointed that the item boxes are creased right now (but the figures are ok). I was trying to figure out how the they are damaged this way because the damage on the packaging box does not reflect it. I am not sure if the item boxes were damaged before delivery. They were secondhand but still sealed. Anyway, life goes on.

I believe that if you order more stuff for combined shipping, the volume and weight will increased, and you still have to pay more to TreasureJapan right?

Yes, the hassle for any claim is just too tedious and wasting time, not including headache. That's the reason that I will not make any claim if the box is not too damaged. There is so much paperwork and followups to be done. Been there, done that :P

Please continue to support Treasure. I have plans to use them and I may need to seek your advice again on this :)
