Yeah I wish someday I could buy a macro lens.. But the budget for it keeps falling because of my figure-collecting hobby XD
And not to mention DOA5's DLCs.. Heck, I think the money I spent for it is more than what I spent for the game lol
Yea can't resist Helena's "oneesan-ness" lol. Lately I've been practicing Kokoro to be Helena's partner in tag teams..
Of course I prefer Jakarta to be cooler.. Getting out for work at noon is (almost literally) a pain..
Beside IFGC Indonesia also have annual Toy Fairs, almost 5-6 times a year.. If you come to Jakarta when there's a toy fair I will take you to it. Be careful for counterfeit items there, though.. Can't tell you the exact date, but usually there's a toy fair at the middle and the end of the year.. Oh and there's AFAID too, The Anime Festival Asia Indonesia, usually in September.
I've never been to either Kediri or Surabaya, but I heard the food there is good.. I have many friends from Surabaya, though..

Maybe save up for a new lens someday. Right now I'm saving my money too. Not sure if I told you, but I'm saving up for a Dollfie Dream and those are extremely expensive. I'm going to make a custom, that's cheaper and still affordable. So right now I can't spend my money on figures, it's difficult.

I still didn't buy the DOA5 DLC's yet. I have the DOA5 Collector's Edition though. DOA5 Plus also just released for PS Vita, but I can't buy it yet. I want that Collector's Edition too.

I never tried Helena and Kokoro as a tag team. My tag teams usually are Ayane-Kasumi, Hayabusa-Kasumi and Hitomi-Kasumi.

Yeah, I know. Jakarta's weather is warmer then the average of Indonesia. I understand going out for work is heavy.

5-6 Toy Fairs per year, that's a lot actually. It's nice and yeah, there are always bootleg sellers. When I come to Indonesia sometime you could show me it. I almost never go to fairs/conventions though, not even here in my country. I buy my figures only or in real stores. :P

Surabaya and Kediri are both great cities. I'm not sure how much better food is in Surabaya, but for me food is great all around Indonesia. :D

Recently, the hot weather is accompanied by floods almost everywhere.. I hope the problem will go away soon with the new governor, though..
In Indonesia we have an annual fighting game championship called the IFGC (Indonesian Fighting Game Championship) around February, this year it's on the 23-24th February, featuring Tekken Tag Tournament 2, BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extended, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Soul Calibur V. Hopefully there will be DOA5 next year. I hope you can consider it as one of the reason why you should go to Indonesia next year! ^^

I'm a little bit interested in playing Soul Calibur, but currently I only own 1 title for PS2. I played some Soul Calibur games, but not all and I don't own all of them.

Jakarta is almost like a large carpark, so crowded. Do you always like the hot weather? Of course you're used to it, but would you prefer a little chiller weather too?

IFGC sounds cool. If I would take part, I would probably only play in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and if there was, DOA5 battles too. A good reason to come to Indonesia yeah, but not good enough.
Here in Europe we have big fighting games championships too. In my country are smaller ones, but the big ones are in England and France. If IFGC is on February 23th-24th I couldn't come to Indonesia, at that time everyone still has school/work. I only can visit Indonesia during the summer, so only from begin July.
My family in Indonesia is from Kediri, Jawa Timur. Have you ever been there? Do you ever go to Jawa Timur? Maybe to Surabaya?
You're from Jakarta. What part of Jakarta do you live in? Do you buy your figures in malls, online or from forums?

I played DOA only recently, when DOA5 came out. That game is good... Despite the "created for eye candy purpose only" comments people said, DOA5 is a solid game IMO.. You can add my PSN ID j_strife13 when you can.. Who's your fave character in K-ON? Mine is Nodoka & Mio.. In DOA your fave is Kasumi, I presume? :3

Yeah, the 550D is great. I still have a stock 18-55 lens though. What about you?
Luckily the 550D is a lot better with macro and lowlight, compared to my D70S. But I still use my Nikon D70S a lot to make macro photographs of figures too.

Some people may think DOA is for "eye candy" only, but that's not really true, it's just their opinions. DOA5 and most games in the series are still fighting games. Games like DOA:Paradise and the DOA Xtreme series are basically the "eye candy" games.
I think DOA5 is a solid game too, the new mechanics and graphics are amazing, but I still need to get used to some changes.
I can add you on PS3 later on, not now yet.
My favorite K-On characters are Mio and Azusa. And yeah, of course my favorite character in DOA is Kasumi. Second favorite character would be Ayane.

Jakarta, nice! I really like that city, but it's so crowded and the weather can be very hot at times. Ok, I will let you know when I go. Meeting and playing games together would be nice!
I might go to Indonesia again in 2014, if not, then 2015. Still sounds so far away from now. I maybe have to choose to go to Japan or Indonesia next year and then I probably will choose Japan since I've never been there. But it's totally unsure yet, we'll see, it's still more then a year away from now.

Looks like we both like a lot of the same things, I'm a big K-On fan, I have the same photocamera, I also play fighting games, mostly Tekken and DOA. Maybe we can play together sometime on PS3, but I cannot add you on PS3 yet.
