minaiThat's the exact problem with Rei figures! That Alter Rei had the only face I was happy with, but it was difficult to display well because of the pose. There are always many NGE figures, but sadly most of them don't have a great quality/don't get the characters right.

Asuka's features seem to be easier to mold so finding figures of her are no problem. This was the Rei i was looking at btw item #85596. I saw her on amiami but couldn't track her down anywhere else. I only just found her on this site. The body looks a little boring but the face is great imo.

minaiIs that Rei this item #945? And hope you'll find something nice! There have been some cute Oreimo releases. Btw, do you think there will be new figures from the third eva movie? It would be nice to have a figure like this or something: (ext link).

NGE will always have new figurines. It's been 17 years since it's release and it's still the cashcow it was back then. The new movie is coming out near the end of December in japan so there's bound to be a ton of new merchandise leading up to release. I've got too many Asuka related figurines and I was hoping to find more Rei ones. Problem is, not a lot of people seem to get her face right. I'm pretty picky with my collection since it's costing me a lot of money. The Rei you sold me was perfect!

minaiHi, what's up? Any interesting new figures? :D Oh, and is the Max Factory Asuka as gorgeous as in the photos? I really wanted one but it's way too big to my collection...

I've been doing good. I've been loving the Rei alter and am looking to purchase more that match my taste. As for new figurines, I'm looking to order a Asuka figurine from WAVE and a Rei alter that I can't seem to find on this site. They must be brand new or something. I'm going to anime boston so I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for any figurines that catch my eye. Mainly Ore no imouto. As for the Max Factory Asuka, yeah she's absolutely gorgeous but very tall. You can always put her on top of the case or reorganize your setup. Hope you're doing good.
