I've been a steady anime/manga fan since college (late 1990's), and started collecting anime/manga merchandise in 2002, mostly shitajiki. I started collecting gashapon and trading figure sets in 2002 - 2003. then took one look at the GSC armor saber in 2005 and I've been collecting large scale PVCs ever since. figure collecting is now one of my primary hobbies and it keeps getting better ^_^
Thoughts on Tsukiboard: there are a number of online communities for figure collectors. I'm rather fond of this one, although I haven't spent much time on any other. Communities like Tsukiboard serve many purposes for those who join, and investing in these is very rewarding. There are many ways to contribute and the ones I'll work on include improving the database and adding reviews (the latter is a new project). Getting a promotion to VIB in 2009 was a very pleasant surprise but helps with my personal goals here.
Favorite manga/anime: ONE PIECE, hunter x hunter, hikaru no go, mushishi, full metal alchemist, kekkaishi, twelve kingdoms, kino no tabi, kara no kyoukai, seirei no moribito, xxxholic, berserk, claymore, yazawa ai's stuff
I am a fanatical One Piece fan, pretty much since 2003, and the manga (and anime) are both still going stronger than ever, and the 2010 figure outlook for this series is pretty cool too ^___^
Ultimate wishlist for characters to be made into large-scale PVC:
- claymore: teresa
- clover: suu
- dogs and dogs:bullets & carnage protagonists: heine, badou, naoto, mihai
- kekkaishi: yoshimori, tokine
- lodoss war (oav): all main characters (what a long shot ..)

rowynPurplenhuDid you remember how much you buught Enma Ai, Natsume Takashi and Alphard figures?? I really want them. :)i pre-ordered natsume takashi and alphard so got them at around the manufacturer price plus ship. i think chrono gate's enma ai was 5000 to 6000 yen from mandarake in akihabara, tokyo (a second-hand store). natsume takashi hasn't released yet but pre-orders are probably closed. you can probably get alphard now since she just came out, but not sure how the prices are.

Oh is there a third season? Did you mean the movie? Cause i havent heard third season of Jigoku Shoujo. I like Enma Ai too.. and her relationship with Sentarou. :)

yep, i've watched the first two "seasons" of jigoku shoujo. still have to see the last. i like the second season better, but enma ai is interesting, in that doll-like mysterious way.

hmm .. choosing from the the non-mugiwara crew is hard, so many great characters too. i probably like best shanks, silvers raleigh, mihawk, and aokiji. if i didn't collect anything else, i'd collect every megahouse POP figure, but alas, there's too many of those and i like too many other figures ^^;
You like strong characters...i like funny and strong :D
I'm trying to collect every PoP...this year we are Lucky... they are many to come out :P

Can you remove the big Ace and Luffy from this serie? Its my mistake i listed them as CB Series first. But now that we have photos its confirmed that they are Normal POP. Thanks!
